We are seeking a skilled and dedicated AC Plant Operator to join our Maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and efficient functioning of air conditioning systems and related machinery within the plant. This role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining comfort and safety for facility occupants while adhering to all safety standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor the performance of air conditioning and refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of all HVAC equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions related to air conditioning units.
- Ensure that all equipments operates according to safety standards, guidelines, and manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and performance reports.
- Respond promptly to emergency calls regarding HVAC systems and ensure quick resolution.
- Support and Assist Maintenance Manager in other maintenance activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of plant areas and equipment.
Qualifications:
- ITI Diploma or equivalent (required).
- Certification in HVAC operation, plant maintenance, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as an AC Plant Operator or in a similar HVAC maintenance role.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including chillers, cooling towers, and associated equipment.
- Proficient in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining HVAC equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations regarding HVAC systems.
